This is a Bagh hand block printed cotton saree from Madhya Pradesh, made using Azo-free dyes, using traditional process of hand block printing.

 

The saree has a off White base with Black and Red blobk print motifs. The Red blouse and palla on the off white saree body, truly gives an absorbingly beautiful contrast.

 

The fabric gets washed many times in the process of creating the patterns using wooden blocks and dyes. The eventual creation therefore makes the fabric even softer and cooler in feel.

 

Oxidized jewelry shall complement the saree well.

A comfortable pick as a work wear. The saree has a lovely fall. 

 

The blouse fabric is Red with off White small motifs and comes attached with the saree.
