This is a Bagh hand block printed cotton saree from Madhya Pradesh, made using Azo-free dyes, using traditional process of hand block printing. 

 

The saree is has Maroon, black and Off White colours. The Off White Blouse fabric with small motifs truly gives an absorbingly beautiful contrast against the Maroon body.

 

The fabric gets washed many times in the process of creating the patterns using wooden blocks and dyes. The eventual creation therefore makes the fabric even softer and cooler in feel.

 

Oxidized jewelry shall complement the saree well.

A comfortable pick as a work wear. The saree has a lovely fall.
