This is a Bagh hand block printed cotton saree from Madhya Pradesh, made using Azo-free dyes, using traditional process of hand block printing.

 

The saree has a been created using Black and Red colours on an off White base. Blouse has black colour motifs over off White and same border as the saree.

 

The fabric gets washed many times in the process of creating the patterns using wooden blocks and dyes. The eventual creation therefore makes the fabric even softer and cooler in feel.

 

Oxidised jewellery shall complement the saree well.

A comforatble pick as a work wear. The saree has a lovely fall.
